Strong demand for the annual spring event drives an October 15 expansion, featuring free general admission, AI workshops and founders featured on Shark Tank.
NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Small Business Expo is expanding its New York City schedule to two shows in one year for the first time, adding an October 15 event at the Javits Convention Center in response to large turnouts and strong demand for its annual spring show. With one week until the inaugural fall event, more than 13,000 businesses have registered to attend.
The expansion gives New York’s small business community a second opportunity to connect with technology experts, accomplished founders, national brands and local business resources. The registration response underscores demand for the additional event, which combines practical business education with networking and access to service providers.
The small business conference and B2B trade show runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time, with free general admission, more than 130 exhibitors, over 30 educational workshops and three keynote sessions. The program addresses practical decisions facing entrepreneurs, including how to use AI, attract customers, hire employees and manage business operations.
“New York’s response to our spring show made it clear that there was demand for another opportunity to come together,” said Zachary Lezberg, Founder and CEO of Small Business Expo. “Having more than 13,000 businesses registered for our first fall event is an exciting response. Our goal is for every attendee to leave with a useful connection, a clearer plan and something they can put to work in their business immediately.”
Practical AI education is a central part of the New York program, with workshops led by speakers from Amazon Web Services, Adobe and HP. Featured sessions include:
• “The Small Business AI Playbook: How to Put AI to Work This Week,” presented by Natalie Hirsch of Amazon Web Services.
• “AI-Powered Productivity with Adobe Acrobat,” presented by Joe Santiago of Adobe.
• “HP AI Advantage: From Everyday Tasks to Business Impact,” presented by Jon Klipstein and Christopher Kingston of HP.
The keynote “AI Is an Accelerator, Not a Strategy: How Small Businesses Can Move Faster Without Scaling Confusion” will feature Takicha and Warrick Roundtree of The Brand Amplifiers. Presented by Verizon Small Business Digital Ready, the session explores how entrepreneurs can apply AI with a clear business purpose.
At 1 p.m., Juan Salinas, founder and CEO of Perfect Life Nutrition, maker of P-nuff Crunch, and Vlad Smolyanskyy, co-founder of Pinblock, will join Nicole Denise, CEO of CoAgency, for “Shark Tank Success Stories: Behind the Pitch.” The moderated discussion will examine the founders’ experiences pitching their businesses, navigating challenges and pursuing growth beyond their television appearances.
Former Disney leader John Formica will also deliver “If Disney Ran Your Business, What Would It Look Like?”, sharing lessons on customer experience, service and team culture.
The exhibit floor will feature companies including Adobe, Amazon Hub Delivery, Citibank, HP, Gusto, Justworks, Paychex, RingCentral, SiteGround and Verizon. Business owners can explore products and services spanning technology, marketing, finance, payroll, staffing and other business needs.
Participating organizations also include Empire State Development, the Internal Revenue Service, SCORE, the Queens Chamber of Commerce, the New York State Department of Labor and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, giving attendees opportunities to connect with public agencies and business support organizations.
American Express, Geico, RingCentral, Verizon Business and Vetano are the event’s Platinum sponsors.
Gold Sponsors include Adobe, CITI, GotPrint.com, Lenovo, PressRelease.com, Red Argyle, SiteGround and SmartMode AI.
