LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, August 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Luxury adventure travel company True Summit Adventures has announced a new Everest Base Camp journey with Kami Rita Sherpa, timed to coincide with his latest attempt to extend his world record of 32 Mount Everest ascents.

Scheduled to operate during the 2027 Everest climbing season, the itinerary will give guests the opportunity to accompany Kami Rita on the approach to Everest Base Camp before he continues his expedition on the world’s highest mountain.

Kami Rita is widely regarded as one of the greatest mountaineers of all time. A Nepali icon celebrated throughout the country, he has summited Mount Everest more times than any other climber in history and continues to play a central role in the annual Everest climbing season.

The itinerary begins in Kathmandu with a stay at Dwarika’s Hotel before a helicopter flight to Lukla. From there, guests follow the classic Everest Base Camp route through the Khumbu Valley with Kami Rita, staying at carefully selected lodges, including Hotel Everest View. The journey concludes with an overnight stay at Kami Rita’s expedition camp at Everest Base Camp before guests return to Kathmandu by helicopter.
