NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, August 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Antelope, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing targeted fluorescent radioligand technologies for cancer, today announced that enrollment and dosing are underway in its Phase 1/2 first-in-human study of AS1986NS, an investigational PSMA-targeted fluorescent imaging agent for prostate cancer.
The study is evaluating the safety of AS1986NS and assessing its ability to selectively bind to and produce localized fluorescence in PSMA-expressing prostate cancer cells, with pathology serving as the reference standard. The study is being conducted under an active U.S. Food and Drug Administration Investigational New Drug application.
“Bringing our first clinical candidate into human evaluation represents years of work by our team,” said Amy Wu, MD, FACS, Founder and CEO of Antelope. “We are grateful to the patients participating in this study and to the investigators and clinical teams making this research possible.”
