WASHINGTON, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — [solidcore], the high-intensity, low-impact strength training brand known for its personalized coaching excellence and effectiveness, today announces the launch of [solidcore] ascend: high-intensity, heated, floor-based strength training amplified by a custom weight and resistance station. Designed to complement the brand’s signature reformer-based workout, [solidcore] ascend gives clients a new way to build strength while carrying forward the personalized coaching, intentional programming, and commitment to effectiveness that define [solidcore].

The introduction of [solidcore] ascend marks the next evolution of the [solidcore] experience. While each workout differs in how clients train, both are rooted in the same approach to strength: form-first, effective, and personalized. [solidcore] ascend builds on that foundation through a different combination of movement, load, tempo, and heat, creating a distinct but complementary strength training experience.
[solidcore] ascend will launch with Strong50, a 50-minute, full-body class programmed around three trainable qualities: hypertrophy, strength, and power. Strong50 uses prescriptive programming, deliberately varying weights, sets, tempos, and rest to build and preserve muscle, develop strength, and train the body to move quickly and with force. The class takes place entirely on the floor, using a custom weight and resistance station, with a coach who guides clients through weight selection, movement, and tempo. Designed for all fitness levels, Strong50 includes detailed coach cues, exercise demonstrations, modifications, and amplifications to personalize the workout to each client.
“Our clients have always been at the center of how we think about the future of [solidcore]. As we’ve grown, we’ve seen an opportunity to meet more of their strength training needs while staying true to what makes this brand distinct. [solidcore] ascend allows us to do exactly that and represents an exciting next chapter in how we continue to evolve the [solidcore] brand,” says Bryan Myers, President and CEO of [solidcore].
Strong50 classes are heated to a target of 90 degrees using infrared heat. Infrared wavelengths work at a cellular level to ease inflammation, promote muscle recovery, and optimize blood flow. The heat also supports cardiovascular health by increasing heart rate and, over time, helping the body adapt through improved circulation and heat tolerance.
While the training stimulus differs, [solidcore] ascend is intentionally designed to complement the signature [solidcore] workout. [solidcore] uses slow, controlled movement and sustained tension to build strength, stability, and muscular endurance, while [solidcore] ascend introduces heavier loads, prescribed reps, and varied tempos to develop muscular strength, growth, and power. Across both experiences, training remains core-forward, with the same emphasis on coaching, form, and intentional movement.
The development of [solidcore] ascend was informed by testing and direct client feedback through the [solidcore] Innovation Lab, where the brand explored new training workouts to understand how its community wanted to expand the ways they build strength.
“[solidcore] ascend is inspired by what our clients told us they are looking for in their strength training regimen, while remaining grounded in the personalized coaching, intentional programming, and effectiveness they expect from [solidcore],” says Anne Smith, Chief Commercial Officer of [solidcore]. “We built [solidcore] ascend to complement, rather than replace, the signature [solidcore] workout, giving clients another way to build strength within the [solidcore] ecosystem.”
The launch of [solidcore] ascend comes amid continued growth for [solidcore], which has expanded from its first studio in Washington, D.C. in 2013 to more than 180 studios nationwide. The brand continues to scale through a corporate-owned model, allowing [solidcore] to maintain consistency across its programming, coaching, and client experience as it enters new markets. As [solidcore] works toward surpassing 250 studios by 2028, [solidcore] ascend represents another dimension of the brand’s next chapter of growth—expanding not only its physical footprint, but the ways clients can build strength within the [solidcore] ecosystem.
[solidcore] ascend will debut at the brand’s first dual-modality studio at Manhattan West in New York City in Winter 2026. [solidcore] ascend will also expand into dedicated studios, with additional locations across the country to be announced in 2027.
