CHARLOTTE, NC, UNITED STATES, September 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — WellAir, a leader in indoor air quality solutions, today announced the appointment of JJ Baird as Vice President of Indoor Air Quality. In this role, Baird will lead the strategy and global growth of WellAir’s connected sensing hardware and cloud platform business, including the company’s new NanoDetect PRO and NanoView solutions.
The appointment reflects WellAir’s continued growth strategy across its indoor air quality product portfolio. By adding connected sensing, monitoring, and optimization capabilities to its established air purification technologies, WellAir is creating a more comprehensive ecosystem to help organizations understand indoor conditions, improve building performance, and support healthier indoor environments.
NanoDetect PRO is a commercial-grade sensor with a modular design and interchangeable capsules. Configurable to monitor up to 15 indoor air quality (IAQ) and indoor environmental quality (IEQ) parameters in real time, the standard capsule measures PM2.5, PM10, carbon dioxide (CO2), total volatile organic compounds (TVOC), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and particle counts at 0.3, 2.5 and 10 microns, as well as temperature, humidity, air pressure, noise and light.
Additional interchangeable capsules expand the platform’s capabilities, allowing organizations to measure a broad range of additional compounds based on project and certification needs. The capsule-based design also provides a faster, cost-effective way to maintain calibration and adopt future sensor technologies. Data flows to NanoView, WellAir’s cloud-based platform, where organizations can monitor performance, identify trends, and optimize indoor air quality across individual spaces, buildings, and multisite portfolios.
