Incident IQ, the leading workflow management platform built exclusively for K–12 school districts, today announced the latest product enhancements to iiQ Facilities. More than 860 districts and independent schools already use the iiQ Facilities platform, which has processed over 3.1 million work orders since 2025. The new enhancements improve preventive maintenance efforts, empower facilities teams to resolve issues faster, and meet the realities of busy technicians and staff working across sprawling campuses and distributed facilities.
Developed in close collaboration with dozens of K–12 facilities teams, the latest updates to iiQ Facilities include:
- Expanded preventive maintenance with guided setup, asset- and location-based scheduling, and a centralized view to manage recurring maintenance plans, making it easier for teams to build, organize, and manage preventive work.
- A facilities-first user experience with cleaner actions, familiar terminology, and technician-focused work views, helping technicians quickly prioritize, update, and complete work.
- Improved navigation and visual cues that help users quickly identify work and navigate the platform with greater confidence.
- Enhanced inventory and parts management that allows teams to track fractional quantities, manage parts stored in service vehicles, and adjust inventory directly from work orders, in order to keep parts management accurate and closely tied to work happening in the field.
“Facilities teams have trusted Incident IQ to help keep their schools running smoothly for years, and these updates reflect our continued investment in building purpose-built tools for the realities they face every day,” said Incident IQ Chief Customer Officer Patrick Bennett. “These teams juggle building safety and compliance, tight budgets, and constant maintenance tasks across dozens of buildings. They deserve tools designed precisely for them, and that’s exactly what we’re delivering.”
Serving 2,400 K–12 students across a rural district in Indiana, the Metropolitan School District of Steuben County relies on Incident IQ to unify its technology and facilities operations. “The teamwork that you get from having everyone work in a unified system is not only great for Facilities and IT departments, but also for the end users. Students and teachers also benefit by having one unified place where they can go to get their problems solved,” said Dr. Chantell Manahan, Director of Technology, MSD of Steuben County.
