Ramos Law has named attorney Josh Hotchkiss as the firm’s new Director of Litigation, recognizing his extensive trial experience and unique background in law enforcement and complex personal injury cases.

Hotchkiss has built a career around high-pressure environments. Before becoming an attorney, he served as a police officer and detective sergeant and was part of a specialized SWAT unit. He earned his law degree from the University of Montana School of Law and has since built a successful personal injury career, securing multiple six and seven-figure verdicts in Colorado courts.

“I’m honored to take on this role and help lead a team that takes trial preparation seriously,” said Hotchkiss. “Every injured person deserves the preparation and determination necessary to fairly represent their injuries and put them in the strongest position possible.”

Licensed in both Colorado and Montana, Hotchkiss has represented injured clients in state and federal court. As Director of Litigation, he will oversee the firm’s litigation team and help guide cases from pre-litigation through trial.

Hotchkiss was an All-American linebacker at Western Colorado University before playing professional football for the New York Giants and in Europe. He is a member of the Mountaineer Sports Hall of Fame.
